Technologically, the culture is mostly mid-20th century “Western,” but there are differences. There are mechanical (bicycles, autos, and railroads) as well as animal drawn means of transportation, but automobiles and trucks are not privately owned. A rail line connecting the three Regions descends into the valley served by Resurrectorium 1920- η from each side. There is a steam train into and out of the Region. There is an electric trolley connecting the other six cities within Region 1920. The fare is 5¢ (free in the event of necessity). Telephones (not cell), telegraphs, and radio are possible. There are no airplanes; there is no television. The facts on the ground are fixed: As a journalist, you are free to react to this but your journal should stay within these parameters.
